MANGLED MAN WALKS MILE
SHOCKING DYNAMITE ACCIDENT. (Per United Press Association). WESTPORT, January 26. An inquest was held this morning concerning the death of Joshua Oldham, of Burnett’s Face, who died on Saturday from the effects of a premature explosion of dynamite, on the river bank. Deceased, who lost an eye and his two hands, walked over a mile for assistance. A verdict of “Accidentally killed by a premature explosion” was returned.
