JETTY DEMOLISHED
ALL COMMUNICATION CUT OFF. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright). (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) PERTH, January 26. The jetty at Port Samson, the port of Roeburne, was destroyed by a cyclone. The damage is estimated at £lOO,OOO. The Roeburne district will have to be served by lightering for some time to come. The jetty was 2157 ft long, and was connected with' Roeburne, twelve miles inland, by a tram line. All communication with Roeburne is at present cut off.
