NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL MEETS. CONFERENCE DATE FIXED. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, January 23. At the meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Council the annual conference of centres was fixed for February 25. The Australian Union wrote, inquiring whether an appearance by Miss Wehselaus was desired at Auckland. If so, it would advise as to what the cost would be. Some members said they thought there should be no charge, as Miss Wehselaus would be passing through in any case on her return to Hawaii and the Australian tour would then be over. The matter was referred to the Auckland Centre.
