GAMING HOUSE RAIDED
A HEAVY FINE IMPOSED. (Per United Press Association.) TE AWAMUTU, November 6. A man, named H. A. Reed, whose tobacconist’s shop was raided by the police last Saturday, appeared before Mr W. Platts, S.M., to-day, charged with keeping a common gaming house. A fine of £lOO was imposed.
