LAND AGENT’S LICENSE
ALLEGATIONS DENIED.
(Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, November 4. When the application for a land agent’s license by Bert Munns, private inquiry agent, again came before the Court this morning the Agents’ Association still opposed it and Munn said he would not proceed. The Police Superintendent then replied to allegations that the police had been bribed in this case. He said the author of the allegations was “a contemptible liar” and an “assassin of men's characters.” The Magistrate said the allegations were not worth noticing. He gave costs against Munns.
