AMERICAN PROJECT REWD. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright). (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association). WASHINGTON, October 30. (Received October 31, 9.25 p.m.) A study of the flight of the American dirigible, Shenandoah to the west coast and back to Lakehurst, is expected by President Coolidge to furnish information upon which wall be based a decision as to a flight by dirigible to the North Pole. The President has been told that the Shenandoah’s flight in every way compared with that of the ZR.3 across the Atlantic from Germany. An important consideration leading to the abandonment of the North Pole project last year was the hesitancy to risk the only Zeppelin type of ship owned by the Government.
