(Received July 7, 11.40 p.m.) Advices from Buenos Aires state that it is reported that the revolution has spread into Rio de Janeiro city. An official communique from Rio under date of Saturday, says: “The public here remains calm and has complete confidence in the Government.” Other reports suggest that the revolution may sweep all Brazil. Troops have been sent to Sao Paulo to restore order.
