WEMBLEY EXHIBITION
DANISH KING’S VISIT (Sun Special). LONDON, June 24. The Danish Royal visitors toured the Exhibition at Wembley, accompanied by the Duke of Devonshire and Sir Travers Clarke. They were received at the New Zealand pavilion by Sir Jar.es Allen, High Commissioner. The King of Denmark watched the dairy scene, and was much amused to see “Freda,” the mechanical cow, swing her head, blink her eyes, and swish her tail. When he heard her bellow he threw back his head and roared with laughter. A wag in his suite suggested that the King whispered “Danish butter” into Freda’s ear, and that in resentment she gave a Colonial bellow.
