HORROCKS’ ESTATE CLAIMS. VALUABLE PROPERTIES. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) MELBOURNE, June 25. Two working men who are brothers, John and Alexander Horrocks, have departed for England to prosecute claims to the Horrocks’ estates, comprising properties in the Wigan district of Lancashire, including the famous Horrocks’ calico business and numerous coal mines, said to be producing an income of nearly £1,000,00 annually.

The brothers secured funds to make the journey and prosecute their claim by issuing £lO bonds entitling the holder to receive £lOOO in the event of the claims proving successful. These were freely subscribed. The estate has been the subject of litigation for many years.
