SABBATARIANS OBJECT IN AUSTRALIA. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) SYDNEY, June 24. (Received June 24, 7.25 am.) The steady increase in Sunday games is viewed with growing alarm by the Sabbatarians. Amongst the protests were the Christian Temperance Union of Gleninnes which asked the Mayor to extend the prohibition of games during church hours to the whole day and the Church Federation of Brisbane which asked the Government to refuse to sanction the City Council’s proposal to repeal the by-law against Sunday games in Brisbane.
