MAORIS AT THE EXHIBITION. (Sun Cable). LONDON, June 20. “Our party is disgusted -with the Maori but at Wembley, because only half of it is of Maori workmanship. The carvings are a poor example of Maori art,” said Moko Katana. “In comparison with Burma, the exhibits at the Maori hut suggest that we are low down in the scale of races. Because we have been treated so badly, our party refused to enter the New Zealand pavilion.”
