LIBERALS LEAD IN STATE ELECTIONS. PLEBISCITE ON SALE OF BEER. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) VANCOUVER, June 21. (Received June 22, 5.5 p.m.), To-day’s provincial elections resulted in the return of 19 Liberals, 15 Conservatives, three Labourites, three Provincials and two Independents. Six seats are doubtful. A plebiscite was taken at the same time on the proposed sale of beer by the glass. This was apparently defeated in Vancouver and Victoria, while other cities voted decisively against it.
