AN INTERESTING CASE. (Per United Press Association.) MASTERTON, February 14. In the Magistrate's Court to-day, Mr S. L. P. Free, S.M., delivered his reserved judgment in the case of the Masterton Borough Council versus Charles Edward Evans, formerly borough engineer in Masterton. This was a claim for £B5 10/- damages for alleged negligent supervision of drainage work carried out by the contractor for the Masterton septic tank. His Worship gave judgment for the Borough Council for £7O, with costs.
