MYSTERIOUS THEFT

ANOTHER JEWEL ROBBERY. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) LONDON, May 1. For the fourth time in three weeks there has been a mysterious theft of jewellery from luggage in transit between Paris and London. Mrs Fanny Barnato was victimised to the extent of 400,000 francs. Her jewels were placed in a steel box in a trunk. The thieves both forced the trunk and closed it without leaving a sign of tampering.
