RIVERTON AFFAIRS

ANZAC DAY (From Our Own Correspondent.) A very successful and impressive service was held in More’s Hall, Riverton, on Wednesday, in connection with Anzac Day. There was a large attendance of returned soldiers and civilians. The accompaniment of the hymns sung was supplied by the Riverton Brass Band who were complimented universally on the manner and quality of the music produced. The arrangements for the service had been left in the capable hands of Rev. C. Webb, who carried out his duties energetically and admirably. The Mayor of Riverton, who was present by invitation, presided, and the officiating ministers were Rev. C. Webb, Anglican; Rev. H. Powell, Methodist, and Adjutant Podmore, Salvation Army. Rev.
