EGYPTIAN CONSPIRACY
ALLEGATION AGAINST OFFICIAL. (By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable. Association.) CAIRO, April 28. (Received April 29, 5.5 p.m.) The principal witness in the conspiracy case stated that an effort was made by a prominent Egyptian official to induce him to withdraw the allegations involving the alleged conspirators. The official has since left the Government service. The allegation has aroused very bitter comments among the British community.
