THE POOLING RUMOUR. DENIED BY ADMIRALTY. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, April 28. (Received April 29, 5.5 p.m.) Regarding reports from Australia that the Admiralty intends to ask the Imperial Conference to consider a grand pooling scheme of naval resources, the authorities informed the Australian Press Association that this is pure conjecture. The Admiralty has made no statement, and so far has formulated no scheme. Its views will be placed before the Imperial Conference for discussion and . cc-operation with the dominions.
