(Received October 8, 5.5 p.m.) At San Diego, California, lieutenants Kelly and Macßeady, of the United Slates Army, broke the world’s record in sustained flight, remaining in the air for 35 haul's, 18 minutes, 30 seconds. They ascended at 5.56 on Thursday morning, and descended at 5.14 on Friday evening.
