(Received October 8, 5.5 p.mJ The Irish Provisional Government's first budget, covering the year ending March next, estimates the expenditure at £37.709,000, in which compensation for property losses amounts to £10.000,000, the army Vote to £7,245,000 and education £3,863,000. NATIONAL TROOPS AMBUHHED MURDERS NEAR DUBLIN. LONDON, October 8. (Received October 9, 1.5 a.mu Fifty irregulars equipped with six machine guns ambushed a small party of National troops near Casir and killed Captain Walsh and another. The rest surrendered. A large force of Nationals overtook the retreating irregulars and captured six. The unidentified bodies of three young men were found shot on the roadside at CLondalkin, near Dublin.
