(Received October 9, 1.5 a.mu Fifty irregulars equipped with six machine guns ambushed a small party of National troops near Casir and killed Captain Walsh and another. The rest surrendered. A large force of Nationals overtook the retreating irregulars and captured six. The unidentified bodies of three young men were found shot on the roadside at CLondalkin, near Dublin.
