FIRES
A GARAGE GUTTED. EIGHT CARS DAMAGED. (Per United Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, October 5. Fire, on. Wednesday night, gutted a motor garage, the property of the Wolterman estate, occupied by A. Bowden, Nine cara were in the building, One was removed and the others were very seriously damaged. The insurance on the building was £3OO, and on the stock and plant £lOOO.
