FIRES
WOOLSHED AND DWELLING DESTROYED. (Per United Press Association,} NELSON, May 8. A fire on Saturday night destroyed a shed containing 135 bales of wool the property of Faulkner Bros., Motueka Valley. A five- roomed house occupied by R. C. Freeman and owned by Mrs MacMorlans was totally destroyed by fire this morning. The occupants had a narrow escape.
