DISARMAMENT
NINETEEN ARTICLES APPROVED. VOTING TAKES PLACE WEDNESDAY. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) WASHINGTON, March 28. (Received March 29, 5.5 p.m.) The Senate approved individually of the nineteen articles of the Naval Treaty, dispensing with the reading of the chapter relating to the execution of the Treaty and other miscellaneous provisions. The Senate will begin voting on the Treaty at three o’clock on Wednesday. So far no amendments and reservations have been offered and it is expected the instrument will be ratified unaltered and perhaps unanimously.
