SAMOA
MR LEE’S VISIT. (Special to the Times.) WELLINGTON, June 20. The Minister of External Affairs, the Hon. E. P. Lee, is about to pay a visit to Samoa, where he will be received in ceremonial fashion by the natives. The exchange of presents is always an important part of such functions on the islands, and Mr Lee is equipping himself with an imposing collection of walking sticks, pipes, and other articles likely to appeal to native tastes. He is likely to have a busy time in Samoa. The natives have various grievances, real or imagined, and they are preparing to place them all before the Minister.
