IMPERIAL CONFERENCE
DR BUTLER’S ADDRESS. SOME MISUNDERSTANDING. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) NEW YORK, June 11. (Received June 12, 5.5 p.m.) Dr Murray Butler states that he has received cabled information that the meeting he agreed to address in London in connection with the Imperial Conference has been cancelled. He expects that other arrangements will be made when he reaches London. THE OFFICIAL DESIGNATION. LONDON, June 11. (Received June 12, 11.5 p.m.) The Conference secretariat explains that the terms Imperial Conference and Imperial Cabinet are not used officially. The Conference will determine its own designation. Meanwhile the officials are using the term Conference of Prime Ministers.
