FUSION OF COMPANIES. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) BERLIN, May 12. Negotiations have been satisfactorily concluded for the fusion of the Kosmos Steamship Company of Hamburg, and the GermanAustralian Company. A common management will be established, the tonnage pooled, and the profits equally divided. The object of the fusion is to prevent competition. The Kosmos Company has resumed the South African sendee.
