SCHOOL COMMITTEES
HOUSEHOLDERS’ MEETING. TUSSOCK CREEK.—The annual meeting was attended by four householders, Mr Clark presiding. The statement of accounts submitted by the retiring committee showed that the receipts for the year amounted to £34 0s 9d and the expenditure to £25 12s lOd, the balance in hand being £8 7s lid. The following were elected to the new committee:—Messrs W. J. Clark (chairman), W. Lightfoot, R. Dunlop, N. Mclntyre, and W. Spriggs. FORTIFICATION.—The annual meeting was presided over by Mr McKinnon. The statement of accounts submitted by the retiring committee showed that the rercceipts for the year amounted to £l9 and the balance in hand £8 13s 9d. The following were elected to the new committee: —Messrs McKinnon (chairman), J. S. Fleming, M. L. Fallow, George Braid, W. Murray (secretary). FELDWICK.—The annual meeting was attended by several householders, Mr A. Wilson presiding. The statement of accounts submitted by the retiring committee showed that the receipts for the year amounted to £5 12s and the expenditure to £ll 15s 2d, the balance in hand being £9 2s Bd. The average attendance for the yehr was 15. The following were | elected to the new committee: —Messrs G. i Moreton (chairman), A. Ballantyne, H. | Ross, J. Johnston, A. Wilson.
OTATARA.—The following were elected to the new committee:—Messrs .W. A. Hopgood (chairman), D. King (secretary), J. Patterson, S. TufferyJ and J. King.
WENDON.—The annual meeting was presided over by Mr Alex. MacKay. The statement of accounts submitted by the retiring committee showed that the receipts for the year amounted to £SO 16s 9d and the expenditure to £39 13s, the balance in hand being £ll 3s 9d. The following were elected to the new committee: —Messrs Alex. MacKay (chairman), William Stevenson (treasurer), Walter Miller, Thomas A. Barclay, and John Stewart.
