WOMAN’S BODY IDENTIFIED. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, September 4. The woman whose body was found on Sumner beach yesterday morning has been identified as Mrs Ellen Harriet Wilson, a widow with five children. She had been in a despondent mood lately, and was missing from home since Monday morning. KILLED BY TRAMCAR. CHRISTCHURCH, September 4. A man, Frederick William Faulkner, was knocked down by a tramcar last night and sustained serious injuries to his head. He died in the hospital early this morning. EXTRAORDINARY FATAL ACCIDENT. CHRISTCHURCH, September 4. George McClure, aged 60, a well-known farmer, was killed to-day while motoring at Invell. A tree was being felled on the side of the road and fell on the motor car, killing him instantly. His son who was driving was rendered unconscious. His daughter and granddaughter in the back of the car were uninjured.
