RESOLUTION AGAINST HOME RULE. (By Telegraph—Press Assn. Copyright.) • (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) SYDNEY, September 4. In the Assembly Mr Perry moved that, in consequence of the treachery and disloyalty exhibited by advocates of Homo Rule for Ireland towards the Empire, and their preference for German rule, this House is of opinion that the question of Home Rule should be deferred till after the war. The debate was adjourned. N.S.W. STOCK RETURNS. SYDNEY, September 4. The State stock returns show an increase of 424,405 cattle and 3,741,429 sheep, compared with ,1916.
