SOUTHERN MAORI ELECTORATE
(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 16. It is understood that Mr Ilenare Parata, brother of the late Charles Parata, M.P., has been requested to offer himself as a candidate for the Southern Maori electorate, and has consented to do so. The prospective candidate is at present engaged fanniig at Puketeraki, the home of the Parata family.
