We raided trenches eastward of Bouchavesnes, and later our artillery dispersed the enemy massing for a counter-attack on the trenches recently captured there. ' French communique: Between the Oise and the Aisne our destructive fire wrecked enemy organisations, and demolished casemates and dugouts north of Autreches.
There iiave been violent artillery actions north of the Meuse along the Chambretes-Bezonvaux front, but no Infantry fighting.
