SOLDIERS' DEATHS
CEREBRO-SPINAX. MENINGITIS CASES. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 5. The Defence Department reported that Private James H. Watson died in : the Masterton civil hospital on Mondayevening from cerebro-spinal meningitis. His next of kin is Private A. Watson; brother, a member of the 21st Reinforcements. Deceased was a member of the Trentham details. Another death from cerebro-spinal meningitis occurred at Featherston Military Hospital this morning, the patient being Harry Perclval Goad, 20th Mounted Rifles. The next of kin is Mrs M. 52. Coad, Teroti, Hawera, mother.
