BLUFF HARBOUR. ARRIVED. February IS —Kotare, 79 tons, Hanning, for Preservation Inlet. N’.M. and A. Co., agents. The Kotare readied Bluff yesterday with a cargo of scrap mining machinery from Preservation Inlet. The Union Company advise that the Flora is now loading at Auckland for Bluff. She will leave Auckland on the ISth, proceeding via Timaru and Oamaru. The Wimmera will bring down all transhipments at present lying in Dunedin. arriving at Bluff on Thursday afternoon. The presence of no fewer than four oversea sailing vessels in port at Auckland indicates, remarks a northern exchange, that owners of these craft are not slow to take advantage of the shortage of steamers. The vessels referred to are the four-masted schooner Alert, which brought a large cargo of timber from Puget Sound, the barque Mananui. with general cargo from Newcastle, the barque Activ, and the harquentine Lindstol, both loading for Sydney. In addition to these the barque Louisa Craig is due at Auckland shortly. EXPECTED AT BLUFF.
