GIFTS FOR SOLDIERS
A NELSON SUGGESTION. (Per United Press Association.) NELSON, February 15. At a meeting of combined Patriotic Committees 'to-night the suggestions made by Colonel Rhodes were discussed, and it was decided to urge the Government to appoint a civilian committee at the front to receive gifts, cash, etc.., from central committees in New Zealand and supervise their distribution to the men in the firing line.
