W.C.T.U.
At the last meeting it was decided to Fend a. delegate to the conference at {Wanganui in Alarch. It was decided to advertise the Union in the tram cars. Aierabcrs were invited to a picnic at Thomson's' Bush to celebrate Francis {Willard day. February 15. The W.C.T.U. are making a special effort to help our hoys at the front, Mrs Cowie starting the list by giving a house in Mary street. Messrs Todd, auctioneers, are giving their service at the sale, free. The Union hope that someone else will come forward with another big effer. The members have collecting cards, all promising to do their best to get them tilled for good amounts. Anyone in sympathy with the Temperance party have now an opportunity to give accordingly as God has prospered them.
