EMIGRATION PASSPORTS
CHARGE INCREASED TO 10s.

WELLINGTON, February 10,
The charge made by the Department of Internal Affairs in connection with the Issue of passports is to be increased from 5s to 10s for each passport as from to-morrow.
The Minister for Internal Affairs stated to-day that the cost of handling applications for passports was considerable, and he thought it fair that the charge should be raised to 10s, the rate already in operation in Australia.
