Two German seaplanes dropped three bombs on the outskirts of Ramsgate and four near a school at Broadstairs without causing a casualty. FURTHER DETAILS. A BRIEF VISIT. ONLY SLIGHT DAMAGE. LONDON, February 9. Received Feb. 10th, 8.5 p.m. At four o’clock two Taubes were seen at Ramsgate. When over the town they separated, one going to Broadstairs. The whole affair lasted a very few minutes. Most of the bombs dropped were between the towns, falling on the roadway and in the fields. One at Broadstairs fell near a girls’ school. There was little excitement and the damage caused by the raid is said to be slight. TWO WOMEN AND A CHILD INJURED, RAIDERS REFUSE TO FIGHT. LONDON, February 10. Received Fob. 10th, 0.80 p.m. Official : Two women and a child were injured by the raid. A number of aeroplanes ascended to attack the raiders which retreated without fighting. Also that on the night of 90th January a Zeppelin which raided Paris was destroyed at Ziquo. The engines caught in lioc s and the envelope collided witli a Mock house which was greatly damaged.
