Bratiano (Premier) maintains neutrality with difficulty. SUDDEN GERMAN BLOW PREDICTED ALLIES MUST PROVIDE ASSISTANCE ROME, February 9. Received Feb. 10th, 8.5 p.m. The Corrlere d’ltalia believes that Germany is preparing a sudden blow against Roumania and it is therefore necessary for the Entente to counteract the German movement. Roumania must be able to reckon on adequate assistance. EVACUATION OP ALBANIA. 100,000 SERBS REACH CORFU. ANOTHER ISLAND OCCUPIED. PARIS, February 9. Received Feb. J Oth, 9.5 p.m. The Petit Parisian states that 65,000 Serbians have landed at Corfu, and the number will reach 100,000 within a couple of days. The evacuation of Albania will then be complete. French detachments occupied the Greek island Fano (.north-west of Corfu). SUBMARINE STATIONS SUPPRESSED ROME, February 9. The Allied fleets, operating among the Greek islands, have suppressed numerous provisioning stations for enemy submarines. BULGARS AND GERMANS CONFER. AMSTERDAM, February 9. King Ferdinand, M. Radoslavoff (the Bulgarian Premier), and Crcneral Jokoff have arrived at the German headquarters. Dr von Bethmann-Hollwog (the, German Chancellor) and Herr von Jagow (Secretary for Foreign Affairs) also attend the conference. CAMPAIGN AGAINST SALONIKA. ABANDONMENT REPORTED. ATHENS, February 9. Some circles affirm that the AustroGcrmans have temporarily abandoned the campaign against Salonika and are directing all their efforts to the Italian front and against the British in Flanders. hoping to obtain some successes calculated to influence neutrals.
