POPULAR PICTURE PALACE An entirely new programme of pictures is announced for presentation at the Popular Picture Palace to-day and this evening. “An Example’’ is considered one of the best picture plays produced by the renowned Universal Company, and has attracted large audiences in the northern cities. The principal comedy, “Almost a Scandal,” has Billie Ritchie, Charles Chaplin’s great rival, in the cast, and 1b therefore sure to attract patrons who love comedy. The supporting numbers are “Race with' Death” (drama), “Fastidious Fanny” (comedy), “Tipperary” (scenic), and the latest Eclair Journal with a large budget of interesting events. On Tuesday afternoon and evening the whole of the net profits will go to the Retail and Industrial Princess No. 7, when a large crowd is anticipated.
