BLUFF HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
A well attended iinmml general meeting of the Bluff Horticultural Society look place at Bluff lust night, Mr G. Maud presiding. The annual report, which disclosed a sound financial position and a satisfactory stain of affairs generally, was adopted. The following office - hearers were fleeted: Patron. Sir .1. G. Ward: president,. Mr 11. 'A. Chapman; vice-presi-dents, Messrs S. Nlchol. G. Maud, C. A. Tipping, G. A Lee, and W. O. Blackie. committee. Messrs Ulster, Swinburne, Macdonald. Courtis. It. Maud, Bannerman, ami n. King; .Mcsdames Lee. Tipping, Crosier, Georgeson, Bailey and Miss Todd: secretary and treasurer. Miss M. Maud. It was derided to hold the' two annual shows (Spring and Autumn) in September and February. and to revert te the Old system of one-day shows.
