ARREST OF A WAITER. STAMPEDE OF GUILTY CONSCIENCES. (Times and Sydney Sun Services.) LONDON, March 4. Received March 5. 6.5 p.m. A waiter who also acted as clerk in a restaurant at Soho lias been sentenced to nine months' imprisonment for theft. It -was staled that when the arrest w;ts made seven oilier waiters stampeded, not even waiting to receive their wages. The restaurant takings sinco have increased hy fifty pounds a week.
