Received March 5. 6.5 p.m. A young woman named Julia Docies was sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment for wounding With murderous intent Basil Piffard. a man of independent means. They lived together in a West End flat for years. On returning from supper one night she shot Piffard when in lied, permanently injuring his eye, because lie stated that lie might go to Paris with another woman.
