CAT AND MOUSE ACT
A NEW GOSPEL,. THE RIGHT TO SUICIDE. Times —Sydney Sun Special Cable. LONDON, August IS. The Rev. XV. Temple. M.A., headmaster at Refton School (Derbyshire), speaking at Oxford, described the Cat and Mouse Act as a form of torture. He would allow militants to please themselves as ,to the course they should take, supplying them with nourishment suitable for their recovery, but he could not conceive , why the State interfered to forbid suicide. The Government had passed legislation outraging human liberty Instead of recognising man’s right to commit suicide.
