(Per United Press Association). WAIHI. Jan. 25. As a sequel to a recent police raid on Waihi beach, H. Sorenson, at the Magistrate’s Court to-day, was convicted of selling liquor without a license in Tauranga electorate, just over the border Hue of uhmemuri district, and was fined £25. Phillip Toms, for ordering liquor without giving the person to whom the order was given a statement in writing of his name and address, was fined 30s.
