THE DUKE’S TOUR.
(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.) CAPETOWN. Nov. 17. The Duke and Duchess of Connaught, when going from Victoria Falls to Salisbury, were cordially welcomed at the coalmining township of Wankie, where dynamite explosions and the salutes of the colliery ‘‘hooters” startled the stillness of the night. The Connaughts have arrived at Salisbury. They drove to Government House, opening en route a new road which was christened King’s Way. Thereafter they were publicly welcomed at the Drill Hall.
