IS, 9.30 p.m. The Full Court has adjudged the Daily Telegraph and the Evening News guilty of contempt of Court in having published what purported to be a confession by Senkovich, at present; confined in Darlinghurst. on a charge of murdering Esmond at Bcurke. The Chief Justice, in delivering judgment, expressed the opinion that the alleged confessions were calculated to prejudice Scnkovich In the eyes of the public, from whom the jury to try him must be chosen. Justices Cchon and aired concurred in this view. Each paper wan lined £IOO and costs. Similar proceeding.; instituted against the Sunday Times and the Melbourne Ago have been abandoned.
