IMMORAL LITERATURE.
(Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 12. An echo of the famous "immoral literature” prosecutions was heard during the chamber sitting of the Supreme Court this morning. Mr 0. T. J. A 1 pers applied to his Honour Mr Justice Dcnniston to quash two convictions which had been recorded against Frank Harold Christian, a bookseller’s assistant, who had sold the work known as "Six Women.” The application was based on the same ground as that which ivas successfully advanced in a recent appeal case, dealing with the same set o£ prosecutions. Counsel for the Crown, did not oppose tlie application which was granted.
