In the course of a brief interview with a representative of “Truth” Dr. Mason stated that his attention had been directed to a statement iu a Southland newspaper to the effect that Hie Health Department had, withdrawn its objection to tiro storage of oysters under the Bluff wharf. He (Dr. Mason) iiad communicated with Dr. Ogston (District Health Ofiicer) ou the subject, and he replied that the site selected for the purpose was a suitable one. Beyond that all that lie (Dr. Mason) knew of the matter was that the site selected was a new one. but he did not know whether or not it was under tiie wharf.
