MORTON MAINS.
This half of the Seaward Downs branch met ia the school on Tuesday evening for the purpose of hearing an address by Mr Paterson. There was a good attendance, and Mr J . Calder occupied the chair, liy special request Mr Paterson. delivered an address on the diseases incidental^ to the calving cow.. This proved highly interesting, and gave rise to a good and profitable discussion, several members stating their expedience of the diseases and conditions mentioned by the lecturer. Nearly all the members present joined in the discussion and, the exchange of opinions lasted quite an hour. Votes of thanks were passed to ihe chairman and td Mr Paterson.
