Upon the discovery of the fraud the impostor fled to New York. Received 30th, 10.24 p.m. MrNorman, M.P. for Wolverhampton south, has divorced bis "wife on the ground of her adultery with Edward Arthur Fitzgerald, a well known traveller and mountaineer. * A. HERO! The Irish Parliamentary party is very sympathetic with Lynch and has contributed £100 towards his defence fund. Many resolutions were carried at a meeting and petitions are being signed throughout Ireland asking for the King's clemency for the traitor.
