The N.Z. Bands' Contest

MASTERTON, Jan. 30
The Southland Battulidn Band, which came up by to-night's train, was the first to arrive here for .the contest. The visitors were met at the station by the local band and played up to their hotel. They were given a very hearty rCCOp-v tion. .;'.;'■ •
